Susan M. Joseph, MD is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease, and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. She specializes in the treatment and management of patients with congestive heart failure. Her areas of clinical interests include heart failure, heart transplant, and left ventricular assist device therapy.

Dr. Joseph studied medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri where she went on to complete fellowship training in Cardiology, and Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation.

Prior to joining Advanced Heart Failure Clinic, Dr. Joseph was the medical director of the Cardiac Dyspnea Center at Washington University School of Medicine, as well as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Heart Failure and Transplantation.

Dr. Joseph’s office is located at the Center for Advanced Heart and Lung Disease on the campus of Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
